Apply for a UK ETA

Your guide to understanding the UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) requirements and completing your application accurately and efficiently.

What is a UK ETA and How We Can Help

We are an independent travel assistance provider. Our role is to offer optional support and guidance with the ETA application process, helping travelers complete and submit their applications accurately and confidently.

UK ETA Eligibility

Who Needs a UK ETA

This travel authorisation was implemented in stages, starting with nationals from certain countries, including those in the Gulf region, with further expansion over time. The latest stage took place in April 2025, when EU citizens were included in the requirement.

As of 2024, most travelers from visa-exempt countries will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before visiting the United Kingdom. This includes visitors from countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and most of Europe.

An ETA may be required for the following types of travel:

  • Tourism – Leisure visits, family travel, and sightseeing

  • Business – Attending meetings, events, or conferences

  • Short-Term Study – Workshops, courses, or academic programs

  • Transit – Traveling through the UK on the way to another destination
